Radio Daze first appeared on the Nashville music scene in 1994 and quickly established itself as one of the city’s favorite dance bands. The Commodores
The Commodores Big Band was formed in 1975 , as an offshoot of the Victoria City Police Band by a group of musicians keen to play the big band music of Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Les Brown, the Dorsey Brothers etc., for their personal and public enjoyment. They have enjoyed success unmatched by any other big band in the Victoria, BC area! Check 'em out! People ask what our founder, Henry Mason is up to. As predicted he is back on the bandstand, trombone in hand with a fine new band in Raleigh, North Carolina called the NC Revelers Orchestra. Expect him to be swinging' in Carolina from the coast to southern Virginia!

Night & Day Orchestra - Beaumont, Texas
Yes...Beaumont, Texas. This is a new Big Band that's already making its mark in southeast Texas. Founded and led by Wayne Dyess, a prodigious trombonist, the band is already sounding like seasoned veterans. As matter of fact, some of them are veterans of Stan Kenton, Les Brown, The U. S. Navy Band, and many other well known groups. Check them out today...and don't miss the impressive bios on their "Musicians" page. Dr. Wayne Dyess, is also Professor of Trombone and Director of Jazz Studies at Beaumont's Lamar University. In addition he is a featured trombone soloist with the New Sousa Band! The Village Big Band
The Village Big Band is one of the most interesting bands in Italy and is now available in Europe for any musical situation you need . The VBB was born in the 1993 from an idea spawned by Sandro Comini and some other musicians. When they had thei first engagement they used the name of the club where they rehearsed. The place was named "Village Club", and so.....VILLAGE BIG BAND was born!. Check out this site...and listen for the great sound files!
Couleur Swing
Here's a very interesting site from the northeast corner of France where J. F. Dewez holds forth with a 17-piece big band! The band also boasts not only a very fine vocalist, but a vocal quartette as well! They are working in an area that is not particularly supportive of big bands and are doing a GREAT job. ConChord Big Band
Here's a site featuring an English Big Band called "The ConChord Big Band..The CCBB is a highly entertaining showband with a wide repertoire that covers big band swing, Jazz, pops and movie and stage music. This band was built on thorough rehearsals and good presentation. The band is located in West Sussex, England, midway between London and the English Channel.
Park Lane Big Band
The Park Lane Big Band is based in Bath, England and performs regularly at public and private events throughout the South West of England. It has a considerable repertoire of big band classics and jazz standards. It also has an alternative repertoire of rhythm and blues, disco, Latin and funk to liven up even the most reserved of audiences.

The Roseville Big Band
Our new friends in Minnesota! The Roseville Big Band is comprised of volunteers who perform for the enjoyment of making good music and entertaining their audiences. In a typical year,
they perform for more than 6000 live audience members in 12 to 15 performances, including concerts in parks and nursing homes. Many additional viewers see their live local broadcasts and rebroadcasts on channel 15, CTV North Suburbs. If you're in their area, you'll want to hear these guys play!
