The Church Choir Basic Music Survival Guide
This little book was authored by SJO trombonist Hector Bourg Jr. to fill what he believed was a void in the
church choir world. Most music texts are far too complicated for the average once-a-week choir member, and most of these folks have little to no formal training in
choral music and music notation. He felt a sort of "basic need-to-know" text would be of enormous benefit to them, but whatever the form of the final book, it would
have to be inviting, light-hearted, non-threatening...and informative. Subsequent testimonials have have proven him right, as the book is being used by choirs from
Louisiana to Canada! If your choir could use a book like this, just visit this link to see a description, some sample pages and ordering instructions...and a few
testimonials from happy users!
