"Ted Turner's Birthday Ball"
A few years back when TV mega-mogul Ted Turner celebrated his
50th birthday, the Sentimental Journey Orchestra was engaged to
provide the evenings entertainment. The event was held in the
atrium of CNN Center, a view very familiar to television viewers
from all over the globe. In the lower right corner of the picture you
can just make out a couple dancing . . . Ted's date is wearing the
white ruffled skirt. This was before his meeting and eventual
marriage to Ms. Fonda. It was a fun evening . . . even the SJO
members were presented with the same party favors given to all
the invited guests. Nice touch Ted!
